
AME Apprentice - Structures · Pinkenba, QLD
As an AME Apprentice at Northrop Grumman in Pinkenba, Queensland, you'll work alongside experienced aircraft maintenance engineers while studying towards your Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures). Day to day you'll help support aircraft maintenance and modification work, use approved maintenance documentation and tooling, and take part in tool control, FOD control, audits and workplace safety activities. You'll be guided by experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Crew Leaders and Certifying Staff as you work through your training plan. The apprenticeship runs for 3 years and 3 months, starts 1 February 2027, and sometimes involves travel to other work sites. To be considered you need to be an Australian citizen who has already completed the theory part of the Certificate IV, and be able to pass a security clearance and police checks.
