This is a four-year apprenticeship based at Georgiou's Hazelmere Workshop in Perth, where you'd work towards a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology. You'd work alongside qualified Heavy Duty Plant Mechanics helping to service, repair and maintain earthmoving equipment, light vehicles and other plant and equipment. In year one you'd rotate through different repair and maintenance areas in the workshop, then get some short-term site-based work in year two, before moving into field service and site-based teams (including component rebuilds) in years three and four. You'd need to have finished Year 12, have basic computer skills, and be able to get yourself to the Hazelmere Workshop each day. They're looking for someone motivated, reliable and committed to safety who can work well as part of a team.
