Customer Field Technician I Townsville · Townsville, QLD · always_changing
This job is about visiting customers' homes and businesses to install, fix, and maintain nbn network equipment, like copper and fibre cabling. You'd work on your own each day, working out and solving whatever fault or installation problem the customer has, then explaining to them what you did. You don't need any background in telecommunications — nbn trains you from scratch and gives you all the tools and equipment you need. Work happens sometime between 7am and 7pm depending on demand, and you'll need a current, clean driver's licence since you're moving between different customer locations.
