You'd be training as a mechanical fitter on APA's energy infrastructure around the Newman region in WA. Day to day you'd help experienced technicians with planned and reactive maintenance, inspections and repairs, and learn to service, maintain and troubleshoot equipment. You'd also help maintain easements and site facilities, and support job preparation by organising tools, parts and documentation. It's a four-year apprenticeship where you study a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (fitting) at TAFE, with your course fees, tools, equipment and PPE all provided. It's a full-time, permanent role.
